making the new york times
Sometimes you just have to brag, and I feel like making The New York Times is a braggable event. On Sunday MC, my little brother, had an article published in Nature Methods, a highly respected technical journal. Then his accomplishments were made available to the masses through an article in The New York Times. The article came out on Tuesday and is available online here.

Oh my goodness -- such fame. How incredible to see the Crane family in the NY Times -- and with neamtode research no less.
Does this mean that Matt will soon be a multi-billionaire whose fame (and gratitude) helps provide perks for his former teachers (and debate instructors?). Or is it just a gateway to more geekdom and recognition within an academic forum that few of us ever witness?
Ah, such mysteries.
