Update:

The girl is doing better--she and Pam made it to the capital safely, and she received the medical attention she needed. Now she just needs to rest and get better....

God is gracious, and we even got to see one of the doctors at the clinic that speaks english. First batch of cipro taken; and stayed in thanks to anti-vomit meds. Combined with oral rehydration salts, and immodium for the trip down, and this young lady is slowly on the mend. If all continues on this path, I hope to leave for village again Friday morning.
